Shiatsu

A Japanese healing art which literally translates as ‘finger pressure’. With its origins in the same classical principles as Acupuncture, the practitioner works along the energy lines of the body, to alleviate stress and promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. This may include gentle holding, appropriate rotations and stretches to open up joints as well as pressing with palms, thumbs, fingers or elbows.

Conditions which respond well to Shiatsu therapy include:

Stress related ailments such as anxiety, insomnia, low energy, poor immunity, poor digestion, menstrual problems & addictions.
Syndromes including Irritable Bowel, ME, CFS & Fibromyalgia.
Pain relief for headaches, migraine, back, neck or shoulder pain, muscle and joint pain and impaired mobility.

60 minutes - £55

Clients should wear loose, comfortable clothing for this treatment.
